1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any Treeo service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Treeo on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Description of Services
Treeo provides an AI-powered business intelligence platform that allows users to connect data sources, run natural-language queries, monitor KPIs, and receive automated alerts. Features and service availability may change over time as we continue to improve the platform.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use Treeo. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe are being used fraudulently.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Treeo to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit harmful, unlawful, or objectionable content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our platform without permission
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written consent
5. Data and Privacy
You retain ownership of all data you connect to or upload to Treeo. By using our services, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the services described in these terms. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and maintain security standards described on our Security page.
6. Subscription and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
If payment fails, we will notify you and provide a grace period to update your billing information before suspending your account.
7. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for paid features. At the end of the trial, your account will revert to the free plan unless you provide payment information and choose to upgrade. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial offers at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
Treeo and its licensors own all rights to the platform, including software, designs, logos, and documentation. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without prior written consent.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve our services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the services is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treeo and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Treeo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your use of the services, or your data.
12. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the services after the effective date of the updated terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Treeo is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
